Real Food. Real Nutrition. Healthier Living.
Simply For Life has been helping Canadians eat better since 2001. No gimmicks, no quick fixes, no meal replacements — just real food you actually enjoy eating, because that's the kind of eating that sticks. Our Truro location brings that to Esplanade Street with one-on-one nutrition coaching and a health food market under one roof.
Reinvent your relationship with food
Real food, real recipes and a coach who knows you by name. We help people lose weight, get their energy back and manage health conditions by changing what's on their plate — not by handing them a list of things they can never eat again.
The goal isn't a quick result that disappears in three months. It's building habits you can keep for the rest of your life, with support from someone who's paying attention to how you're actually doing.
Two ways to live better
Whether you want a full plan with a coach behind you, or you just want a place where you know the food on the shelf is good for you — we've got you covered.
Nutrition Coaching
Your coach builds a customized meal plan around the foods you like and the life you actually live — then checks in with you regularly so it keeps working.

Meet the founders
Bruce and Claudine Sweeney started Simply For Life in 2001 with a simple idea backed by years of research: eat food the way nature intended, and build the right balance for each person — because there's no one-size-fits-all.
“It’s simple – eat real food. Don’t count calories. Don’t count carbs.”
